CHANGE THE WAY YOU APPROACH RECOVERY

Release is a nationally recognized behavioral healthcare community offering safe, private, and confidential support for substance use and mental health across New York and Texas. Founded by Zac Clark, a leader with lived experience in long-term recovery, the organization is committed to breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health nationwide.

Since our start in 2017, our outcomes speak for themselves. We’ve witnessed hundreds of stories of recovery. We know this work changes lives, not just for the people we treat but the communities that surround them. Our team is a strong mix of licensed clinicians, experienced operators and individuals who have gone through their own struggles and come out on the other side.

We combine clinical expertise with real-world understanding, strong community, and an environment built for sustainable change. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or someone you love, you’ll find a team that listens, understands, and shows up.

FAMILY INVOLVEMENT

While clients receive one-on-one care and individualized treatment planning, we provide wrap-around services for the entire family system, as well. Families receive regular check-ins from the case management team, and benefit from both peer and professional support offered through weekly family groups and quarterly family education weekends.

Research shows that the identified client has a higher likelihood of achieving long-term recovery when family members are actively engaged in their own recovery process. As part of the program, family members learn their own recovery tools, receiving education, therapy, and coaching. There will undoubtedly be ups and downs throughout the journey, so Release offers a number of supports to help you along the way.

  • The Release program slowly started to change who I was and what I stood for. I gained confidence in myself and began to take ownership of my life. Making tough decisions, laying groundwork, planning a future. Almost every single step I took forward was a step into the unknown.

  • Release gave me all of the tools and support I needed to stay sober, work a strong program, get back into the workforce, and live a life beyond my wildest dreams.

  • I absolutely loved Release. I cannot express enough in words my gratitude for the staff and my fellow residents here. It was a life changing experience that I would enthusiastically recommend to any future resident here.

  • Release became a place for me to continue healing after treatment. If you told me to agree to transitional living after treatment & rehab while running a business and having a wife and four kids at home - I would've told you it's impossible. But, Release became a place for me to continue healing after treatment.
