MEN’S TRANSITIONAL LIVING

A carefully designed program that offers the structure, accountability, and community support you need to maintain your recovery and integrate what you learn into your life after treatment.

  • Westchester County Transitional Living

This renovated nine-bedroom country estate offers a perfect blend of luxury and functionality, featuring an indoor heated pool, sauna, and recreational options like ping-pong and billiards tables. The property is beautifully landscaped to encourage self-reflection, recreation, and fellowship. A converted cottage provides a dedicated space for clients to focus on educational and professional endeavors. Situated in Westchester County, it offers ample outdoor recreation, including hiking trails at nearby nature preserves like Clarence Fahnestock State Park and the Teatown Lake Reservation. Additionally, the estate has convenient access to the Metro North Railroad, offering direct service to Manhattan for easy commuting.

  • New York City Transitional Living

We offer two luxury apartments in Manhattan—one located in the vibrant Flatiron district and the other in the charming heart of Greenwich Village. Both feature private outdoor spaces and are conveniently situated near subway stops, offering easy access to the city’s best attractions. New York City is home to one of the best and most robust recovery communities in the country.

Personalized Treatment Plan

  • Client-Focused

The assigned case manager will collaboratively design an individualized treatment plan that aligns with the client's goals. The case manager will assess areas where the client may need specific training, guidance, or empowerment to build certain aspects of their life. The case manager's role is to effectively communicate on a weekly basis with the 24/7 residential staff to ensure they assist in holding the client accountable for daily goals. Additionally, the case manager will work with the client's clinical team for further support and supervision during clinical sessions, and engage with the client's familial support system to advocate for the client and help the family through transitions, as well as educate them on the recovery process.

  • Clinical Collaboration

The assigned case manager will maintain regular communication with the client's designated clinical team to review the client's strengths, weaknesses, and areas for growth. This collaboration ensures that the residential and clinical teams work together to strengthen the client's sense of accountability. As the client navigates adjustments in their daily life and overall lifestyle, it is essential that they develop attunement skills to regulate their nervous system, along with other therapeutic tools addressed in clinical settings, to ensure a healthy response to treatment.

  • Familial Support System

The assigned case manager's role is to communicate with the family weekly and assist them in developing their own parallel recovery system. These check-ins provide the family with coaching and guidance to ensure the entire family is aligned in their healing process. Family members are encouraged to attend Release's weekly family support offerings, as well as quarterly family weekends, to receive adequate support.
